Yes, as the title says we just finished uploading the third version of  The GreenMist. This one includes many things that we’ve been learning these past few months about the development of games. For example, the consistency of a topic, which makes the experience of the game much better, more congruent and close to what it originally means (so…goodbye unicorns and llamas, among other things… D’:).

With graphics, some good sounds and by adding some animations to the game, we can make its topic to be lived more intensely. This will make the experience of the gamer to be unique. Although the game hasn’t changed in what respects to its basic mechanics, we think the way it looks now is much better than before.

In this version, we added two new challenges which are “saved” and “killed”, meaning how many good items you are able to save and how many of the bad ones you are able to kill inside the game. We thought that the first goal that was in acquiring the highest possible score can be more interesting if it’s divided into saving good items and killing bad ones. This also improves the game experience because involves the gamer more in the actual topic of the game (in this case is about saving Bidi’s planet, Bidi being the small purple square with a protruding brain and small fire rockets in place instead of feet).

The version 3.0 for desktop will be upload it before the end of this week, but we’ll also leave up version 2.0 so that differences between the two can be seen and so you can send us an email with a comment or anything providing your opinion about it. Do you think our goals were met for version 3.0 even though the game mechanics were remain the same?

The GreenMist will have a new chapter in a few months, but meanwhile, we’ll continue with the development of new ideas (games) from which you’ll hear news soon :)))
